VCS Teams Eliminated from Asia Master 2025
No VCS team managed to advance past the Swiss Stage of the Asia Master 2025 tournament, according to pixiejars.com. Despite some strong showings, all Vietnamese representatives fell short of qualification.
The final round of the Asia Master 2025 Swiss Stage concluded on Saturday, March 22nd, with ten teams vying for the remaining five qualification spots.
After five intense best-of-three matches, TES Academy, Anyone’s Legend, Dplus KIA, Weibo Gaming, and Royal Youth ultimately secured their places in the next stage of the competition.
Hyper Vortex Esports’ Final Stand
Vietnam’s last remaining hope, Hyper Vortex Esports, faced Dplus KIA Challengers at 2:00 PM local time. Unfortunately, they suffered a decisive 0-2 defeat, ending their tournament run.
Prior to this, the other three Vietnamese representatives, CyberCore Esports, Team Flash, and Saigon Secret, had already been eliminated after reaching four losses each.
CyberCore Esports finished with the poorest record (1-4), while Team Flash and Saigon Secret shared an identical 2-4 scoreline.
A Valiant Effort from Hyper Vortex
Hyper Vortex Esports, boasting two Korean imports and a Korean coach, demonstrated a stronger performance compared to their fellow VCS teams. However, their 3-4 record left them just one win shy of progressing to the next stage.
Despite the elimination of all VCS teams, Vietnamese fans can still support Trần “LazyFeel” Bảo Minh, the Vietnamese AD carry competing for DRX Challengers.
Dominant Performances from KT and T1
DRX secured their qualification in Round 6, finishing with a 4-2 record in the middle of the pack.
The Tournament Favorites Emerge
KT Rolster Challengers and T1 Esports Academy emerged as the top teams in the Swiss Stage, both boasting flawless 4-0 records and showcasing dominant performances throughout the tournament.
To challenge the likes of T1 and KT for the Asia Master title, LazyFeel and DRX will undoubtedly need to elevate their game even further. The competition is fierce, and only the most prepared teams will stand a chance at claiming the ultimate victory.
